We are looking for a skilled and talented Corporate Communications Specialist to join the DigiPlus Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, and Sustainability (IRCCS) team to perform and contribute the following key duties and responsibilities:
External Communications
- Support the development and implementation of communication strategies to build brand awareness and strengthen brand credibility.
- Draft press releases, creative briefs, website copy, and other content.
- Assist in PR campaigns, media engagement, and handling queries.
- Monitor news and online conversations to support timely responses, media relations, and crisis communications.
Internal Communications
- Draft and distribute employee communications (i.e. DigiPlus Insider announcements).
- Support leadership in preparing internal messages and HR for employee engagement.
- Help maintain and update internal communications guidelines and toolkits.
Corporate Events & Creative Production
- Provide support in planning and executing corporate events (e.g. Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, PlaySafe Alliance industry association activities, Investors’ Night, Media Night).
- Coordinate with vendors, process invoices, and assist in budget tracking.
- Help manage the pre-production to post-production process of key campaigns and creative outputs, ensuring materials are delivered in a timely and high-quality manner.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor and share insights on media coverage, industry news, and competitor activity.
- Help maintain media and stakeholder contact lists.
- Assist in preparing periodical Corporate Communications activity reports and dashboards.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in corporate communications, PR, marketing, or related fields.
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism, or related course.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills in English and Filipino.
- Experience in internal/external comms, event coordination, and admin legwork.
- Proficiency in comms tools (email, website CMS, intranet, social media, basic design).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
