Quezon City, April 4, 2023 – ArenaPlus the newest online entertainment offering of Total Gamezone Xtreme Incorporated, signs a sponsorship deal with the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) making ArenaPlus its Official Sports Entertainment Gateway.
Present in the ceremony are PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial, PBA Marketing Director Jo Francisco, DigiPlus President Andy Tsui, and TGXI President Jasper Vicencio.
During the signing ceremony, Vicencio remarked that they are thrilled to share with PBA and with Filipinos what ArenaPlus is all about. “It is a brand that will surely add hype, more fun, and entertainment to PBA fans” he added.
Moreover, DigiPlus President Andy Tsui expressed his support for this new venture. “Thank you PBA for allowing us to exhibit our new brand. Your support is indeed a part of our success” he said. As the holding company, Tsui reassured TGXI that their support is all the way.
Part of the multiple-year sponsorship agreement is ArenaPlus will have brand exposures in-stadium during PBA5x5 and PBA3x3 games, on social media accounts, on digital platforms, and during special events e.g. Draft, All-Star Weekend, Media Day, PBA On Tour, etc.
In the course of the ceremony, ArenaPlus revealed its first athlete endorser, Scottie Thompson. He won the PBA Best Player of the Conference Award in the 2021 PBA Governor’s Cup. He was also awarded the 2021 PBA Mythical First Team and PBA Most Valuable Player. Recently, he was awarded his second Best Player in the 2022-23 PBA Commissioners’ Cup on January 2023. The brand believes that Thompson has the capacity to support the brand and affect more Filipinos in appreciating basketball.
