As the chosen beneficiary, Sisidlan continues to inspire through its handcrafted woven bags and livelihood programs that empower local artisans, especially mothers who were former inmates and who have found renewed opportunities through weaving. Through every bayong woven, stories of resilience, creativity, and hope come to life.
The beneficiary was selected for its strong commitment to inclusive livelihood development and its proven impact in transforming lives through sustainable craftsmanship. By supporting Sisidlan, the initiative aims to uplift a community that not only preserves traditional weaving but also provides second chances and dignified work for women rebuilding their lives.
Demonstrating the spirit of volunteerism, team members from BingoPlus Stores in Angono, Binangonan, and Cainta joined the DigiPlus Foundation team in preparing grocery packages for mothers from the Sisidlan weaving community, helping deliver care beyond the celebration.
To honor these remarkable mothers, the team organized a day filled with gratitude and care. The beneficiaries enjoyed a hearty lunch shared with the community and received food and sanitary care packages, along with gift vouchers that can be used for medicines and fuel. These simple yet meaningful gestures aimed to support their daily needs while recognizing their invaluable contributions to their families and communities.
A total of 15 solo mothers and their loved ones gathered for a day of recognition, connection, and joy. Over a shared meal, they enjoyed meaningful conversations, moments of laughter, and a well-deserved celebration of their strength, resilience, and unwavering love for their families.
