From providing leisure and entertainment to transforming the lives of millions of Filipinos, BingoPlus continues to play its part in the community through its contributions. This unwavering support and efforts for Filipinos and the nation deserve its recognition.
In the second Manila Bulletin Newsmakers of the Year Awards, held on February 10, 2025, at the Manila Hotel Tent City, BingoPlus was renowned as one of its honorees and this year’s “Reliable Gaming Brand.” The event honored 18 individuals and institutions who made outstanding contributions to the country.
PLUS in entertainment
BingoPlus is an online gaming platform operated by DigiPlus Interactive Corporation, formerly known as Leisure and Resorts World Corporation. Before its online operations, DigiPlus has been conducting Bingo Bonanza in shopping malls. However, due to the rise of e-commerce at the height of the pandemic in 2022, the company took a high leap by launching BingoPlus, an alternative online gaming platform, which allows Filipinos to enjoy playing bingo whenever and wherever they are.
Through the years, BingoPlus continues to provide leisure and entertainment for its players. By 2024, it has reached more than 38 million users and recorded ₱1.8 trillion in payouts. Moreover, its physical sites have also reached 134 branches nationwide.
“We are indeed committed to providing high-quality and innovative entertainment experiences for Filipinos,” BingoPlus President Rafael Jasper Vicencio said during his acceptance speech at the awarding ceremony.
PLUS to the community
BingoPlus has not only transformed the traditional way of playing bingo. Apart from leisure, it also brings PLUS to the community with its social arm, BingoPlus Foundation, which positively impacts the lives of Filipinos.
BingoPlus Foundation stays committed to its mission, #MultiplyTheGood, as it continues to provide services and programs focused on technology, education, healthcare, community resilience, and responsible gaming.
The foundation offers scholarships through its FutureSmart Scholarship Program, which supports 5,350 students and teachers. Their IT scholarships and digital skills training programs can be an avenue for the country to produce individuals who will contribute to the digitally advanced society.
