MANILA, 17 DECEMBER 2020 – DigiPlus Interactive Corporation (DigiPlus Interactive Corporation) announced on Thursday, 17 December 2020, that it has hired Edward Cheung as President. Mr. Cheung will assume that role, replacing Eng Hun Chuah, and join the Board of Directors, effective same date.
Mr. Cheung is an accomplished president who has developed strong leadership skills in the hotel and gaming industry, which positions him well to lead DigiPlus Interactive Corporation. Mr. Cheung most recently served as Vice President of Full Degree Communications Corp. (FDC), one of the finest and most trusted PR firms in the Philippines where he led multiple international projects for target customers, marketing plan, business revenue, and customer relationships. Prior to FDC, Mr. Cheung served as Vice President of VIP Junket Services at Solaire Resort & Casino, Manila from 2012 to 2017 where he has been responsible for the business development and service standards of all VIP Junket Operations and Services. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cheung enjoyed a long period of progressive leadership roles from Starworld Casino & Hotel before joining Galaxy Macau. Mr. Cheung is a certificate holder from the Condrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management at the University of Houston in Texas, United States of America.
DigiPlus Interactive Corporation also announced the appointment of Restituto O. Bundoc as the new president of its Retail Group effective 17 December 2020. Mr. Bundoc was the former Vice President for school operations of STI Education Services Group, Inc. where he was in-charge of the STI network of schools nationwide, both franchised and company-owned. Mr. Bundoc has shown a proven track record in management and a strong leadership role in strategic thinking and strategy formulation, operations planning and implementation, organizational transformation, franchise management, training and leadership, branding, advertising, media and public relations. Mr. Bundoc graduated from Adamson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and holds an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management.
