Fast-growing digital entertainment group DigiPlus Interactive Corp. will officially be included in the prestigious MSCI Small Cap Index effective September 2, a recognition of the company’s growing stature in the global market.
The MSCI Index, a widely respected benchmark for stock performance, is used by investors worldwide.
Being added to the index not only highlights DigiPlus’ commitment to excellence but also elevates its profile among global investors.
The MSCI Small Cap Index includes 19 companies and accounts for about 14 percent of the free float-adjusted market capitalization of the Philippine equity market.
DigiPlus was earlier added to the FTSE Global Equity Index Series for Asia Pacific Ex-Japan, China in the Micro Cap category.
In the second quarter, DigiPlus delivered impressive results, with net income skyrocketing 389% to P3.2 billion. Revenues surged 295% to PHP 18.9 billion, driven by its digital retail segment and strategic partnerships with PAGCOR.
