MANILA, Philippines — In times of crisis, timely assistance and collective action can help communities recover and move forward. Through its BayanihanPLUS program, DigiPlus Foundation partnered with the City Government of Manila and the Manila Department of Social Welfare to provide much-needed relief to families displaced by a recent fire incident in Delpan, Manila, as well as jeepney drivers affected by rising fuel costs.
The initiative reached 1,000 beneficiaries, delivering essential support to families rebuilding their lives after the fire and to public utility drivers facing economic challenges brought about by the continuing impact of the diesel crisis.
As communities navigate these difficult circumstances, DigiPlus Foundation remains committed to supporting vulnerable sectors through responsive and compassionate interventions that address both immediate needs and long-term resilience.
“Bayanihan has always been at the heart of the Filipino spirit. Through partnerships with local government units and community organizations, we are able to provide timely assistance and help ensure that affected families and workers receive the support they need during challenging times,” said Paul Tamayo, Program Manager for Health and Resilience of DigiPlus Foundation.

As part of its continuing commitment to community development and disaster resilience, the foundation remains steadfast in helping communities recover, rebuild, and emerge stronger from adversity. Through BayanihanPLUS, DigiPlus Foundation continues to multiply the good by turning compassion into action and bringing hope where it is needed most.
