Main Responsibilities:
- Asset Tracking and Management:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets (hardware, software, licenses, etc.).
- Track asset status, location, and assignment.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on asset status, utilization, and compliance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for cost savings or optimization.
- Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement through disposal.
- Ensure timely maintenance, upgrades, and replacements of assets.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with hardware maintenance/warranty, software licensing agreements, and internal policies.
- Maintain documentation and records for audits and reporting purposes.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on asset status, utilization, and compliance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for cost savings or optimization.
- Coordination and Support:
- Work with procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless asset management.
- Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors for procurement, warranties, and service provision.
- Policy Development:
- Assist in developing and updating asset management policies and procedures.
- Promote asset management policies within the organization.
