Key Responsibilities:
- macOS Deployment and Management: Deploy, configure, and manage macOS devices using Microsoft Intune, ensuring systems are up-to-date, secure, and optimized for performance.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for macOS-related issues, minimizing downtime and improving user experience.
- Intune Administration: Utilize Microsoft Intune for Apple device lifecycle management, including device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, and patch management.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain industry best practices for macOS security, including encryption (FileVault), password policies, and conditional access integration with Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for macOS configurations, deployment procedures, and support workflows.
- Collaboration: Partner with IT infrastructure, security, and service desk teams to ensure cohesive endpoint management and security across the organization.
- Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand needs, report on progress, and ensure macOS solutions align with business requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in deploying, supporting, and managing macOS devices in an enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for Apple device management.
- Familiarity with Apple Business Manager (ABM), automated device enrollment (ADE), and configuration profiles.
- Solid understanding of macOS architecture, security features, and troubleshooting tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical Teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a managed IT services or enterprise environment.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MD-102) or Apple certifications (e.g., ACSP).
- Exposure to scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation and advanced configuration.
- Familiarity with Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint on macOS, and compliance integrations
